Contacting Us

Ruby Inside is written by a small team under the editorship of Peter Cooper. There are a number of ways you can contact Ruby Inside - depending on what you want to do.

If you want to promote your Ruby library, app, article, news, event, etc:

Considering posting your Ruby news to the open RubyFlow Ruby community blog at http://www.rubyflow.com/ - we take a lot of our leads from there, so it might make it on to Ruby Inside or Rails Inside too. Most posts over there get a few hundred clicks or so - so it's well worthwhile!

If you'd just rather go direct to a person, then e-mail Peter Cooper at rubyinside -at- peterc.org. But.. don't send stuff that's Rails only - this is a Ruby news site and stuff that's only really relevant to Rails developers or has no Ruby spin on it is not of any use to us. Rails kinda blows, so you're doing yourself a favor if you can make it more related to Rack based frameworks generally anyway.

If you want to promote your Ruby company:

Consider advertising with / sponsoring Ruby Inside. Options start from $40 for a single sponsored post footer that goes out on a post to all our 16,000 readers.

If you want to advertise a Ruby / Rails job:

If you're in the United States, use our job board for this. All jobs advertised that way are also included in our monthly roundup that goes out to all subscribers. If you're not in the US, that method won't work. Alternatively you might want to discuss other options or see if your job would be of interest to the community. If so, e-mail rubyinside -at- peterc.org.

If you just want to give us a quick tip:

Send an e-mail to tips /at/ rubyinside.com. It goes directly into our extranet for viewing by all Ruby Inside's writers. You probably won't get a response but you'll definitely get our attention. So if you're updating a library you're releasing, saw something cool on someone's else's site, etc, drop it there!

Anything else:

It's probably best you e-mail Peter Cooper at rubyinside /at/ peterc.org.
